The first and basic food used to feed larval clownfish in aquarium is typically marine rotifers.
Clownfish larvae should be fed a high concentration of phytoplankton and rotifers for the first 4-5 days.
Rotifers must be fed on planktonic marine algae.
Rotifers
and phytoplankton can be cultivated by yourself or, if necessary, you
can get by with instant algae, though this is not the best solution.
The “full chain” is as follows:
zooplankton to little clownfish babies
phytoplankton to zooplankton
microalgae to phytoplankton.
The medium clownfish babies eat brine shrimp.
The big babies can already eat flake food in small pieces.
Then, it can be given them baby brine shrimp for the next two weeks.
After which they are ready to switch to an adult diet.
It is a good rule to feed small amounts several times a day.
